1. Who we are

Ramayrat Ventures, Inc. ("Ramayrat Ventures," "we," "us," or "our") operates MotherBotanist. MotherBotanist provides on-site plant care for offices in the San Francisco Bay Area.

This policy applies to motherbotanist.com, the MotherBotanist client portal on the web, and the MotherBotanist app (together, the "Services").

2. Information we collect

Information that you give us

• Contact and quote requests. Your name, work email, company, and phone number. Your office city, address, number of floors, number of plants, preferred start date, and your message.
• Client portal accounts. Your name, work email, role, and the password that you set. We store passwords in a protected form.
• Communications. The content of emails and messages that you send to us.

Information we create when we provide the service

• Plant care records. Photos of plants, plant locations in your office, care tasks, visit dates and times, and notes from our technicians.
• Visit information. The names of the technicians and office contacts for each visit.

Our technicians photograph plants, not people. If a photo shows a person or a confidential item by accident, tell us. We will remove or edit the photo.

Information that we collect automatically

• Device and usage data. Your IP address, browser type, device type, pages that you visit, and the date and time of each visit.
• Portal activity. Sign-in times and the pages that you view in the client portal.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

• Reply to your questions and send quotes.
• Provide, schedule, and record plant care visits.
• Create and manage client portal accounts.
• Send service messages, such as visit reminders and invoices.
• Keep the Services secure and find and fix problems.
• Improve the Services.
• Obey the law and enforce our Terms of Use.

We do not use your personal information for targeted advertising.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only in these cases:

Content providers (Google Fonts and Unsplash)	Our website loads fonts and photos from these providers. Your browser sends them your IP address when the page loads.
People at your company	Portal users at your company can see the care records for your office.
Professional advisers	Lawyers, accountants, and insurers, when we need their advice.
Authorities	When the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of people.
A buyer of our business	If we sell or transfer all or part of our business.

Our service providers must use personal information only to provide services to us.

5. Cookies and local storage

Our website stores your light or dark theme choice in your browser's local storage. This item contains no personal information. You can clear it in your browser settings.

We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics tools, we will update this policy first.

We treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information.

6. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. For example:

• Quote requests that do not become clients: up to 2 years after our last contact.
• Client records and care records: for the term of the service agreement and up to 7 years after it ends, for tax and legal purposes.

After this time, we delete the information or remove the details that identify you.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical controls to protect personal information. No system is fully secure. Keep your portal password private, and tell us at once if you think that someone used your account.

8. Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you these rights:

• Right to know. You can ask what personal information we collected about you, where we got it, why we use it, and who receives it.
• Right to delete. You can ask us to delete your personal information, with some exceptions.
• Right to correct. You can ask us to correct personal information that is not accurate.
• Right to opt out. You can tell us not to sell or share your personal information. We do not sell or share it.
• Right to limit. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that need a right to limit.
• Right to equal treatment. We do not treat you differently because you use these rights.

To make a request, email us at the address in section 11. We must confirm your identity before we act on a request. An authorized agent can make a request for you with your written permission.

We reply to requests within 45 days. If we need more time, we tell you why.

9. Children

The Services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you think that a child gave us personal information, contact us. We will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We can change this policy. When we change it, we update the effective date at the top. If a change is important, we tell clients by email or in the client portal.
